Advocating for Outdoor Arts, Circus and Spectacle in cultural policy: please share your experiences in our survey

If you are currently working as an artist or engaged in Outdoor Arts, Circus and Spectacle in Scotland, we want to hear from you.  We’d like to capture your insights and experience for an advocacy report and campaign being planned by Articulation, Scotland’s advocacy organisation for Outdoor Arts, Circus and Spectacle.

The survey is part of a study being conducted by Articulation together with arts researchers from Queen Margaret University. The findings will be used by Articulation to advocate for Outdoor Arts, Circus and Spectacle with policymakers and funders in Scotland, to increase the visibility of these artforms at a national level and champion their importance and unique impacts on people and communities.

The survey explores the nature of your work and how you practice your artform, and how your work is (or should be) valued.  It should take around 20 minutes to complete, depending on how much you choose to contribute.  Full details of what the survey involves can be viewed on the first page.  You can access the survey here

DEADLINE EXTENDED: The survey will now be open until Friday 30th May 2025

Please share this link with any others you think would be able to contribute insights. Thank you, your evidence is invaluable in helping to shape future support for this sector.

Let’s make Scotland a place where Outdoor Arts, Circus and Spectacle can flourish!
