We are delighted to announce that we have now launched the brand new Articulation network membership scheme.

Why a membership scheme?
Articulation exists for the benefit and development of those working in the professional delivery of outdoor arts, circus and spectacle in Scotland, and our membership scheme is a key step in supporting us to better understand, represent and advocate for this important part of the cultural infrastructure of Scotland.
The new membership scheme will help us to:
- build knowledge and understanding of the outdoor arts, circus and spectacle (OACS) sector in Scotland;
- improve our ability to listen and learn from those who are working across this sector;
- better connect and showcase those working in a wide range of OACS roles;
- provided targeted support and opportunities for those we represent.
Who is membership for?
Membership is open to:
Artists – those at any stage of their careers who create or perform work, in the OACS sector;
Presenters – those who provide, or aspire to provide, OACS performance opportunities for artists and creatives in their communities;
Technical & Production – those who provide, or aspire to provide, technical and production services to ensure the safe and enjoyable delivery of events.
We also have an Associate membership – ideal for those who do not deliver OACS events directly, but provide support to those who do – such as funders, sector support bodies and showcases.
How will it support my work?
By joining the Articulation Members Network you will be able to:
- be included in our new online membership directory;
- connect with others through events, networking opportunities and partnerships;
- discover sector opportunities, events, resources, campaigns, funding and more;
- attend learning events, training sessions, workshops and masterclasses;
- have your say on key sector issues, impacts and needs – to help shape and inform sector development;
- share knowledge and experience with those working in different roles, scales and career stages;
- have opportunities to apply for support and development programmes.
How much does it cost?
Membership is currently free to access and open to everyone working within, or supporting, the OACS sector.
How do I get involved?
Joining is easy. Just complete our simple online membership form. You will need to provide some simple information about yourself and your work as well as a short introduction and profile picture to go on the website.
