Interim co-chair update

Articulation shares an update from our incoming interim co-chairs, Navid Foroutan and Nicola Lawton.

As we step into our co-chair roles, we want to begin by saying a heartfelt thank you to Jen. Her leadership, energy, and guidance as chair have been invaluable, and her impact on Articulation will be felt for years to come. We’re grateful for her support during this transition.

This is an exciting time for Articulation. The Summer Gathering was a real highlight, the positive energy in the room and the enthusiastic response to the OACS research showed just how much appetite there is for this work across our sector. Over the next few months, we’re focused on building on that momentum by strengthening governance, and developing partnerships to set Articulation up for its next chapter.

As co-chairs, our shared priorities include supporting Angela and the team, delivering light-touch governance and board development sessions, and alongside other trustees, act as ambassadors to broaden our networks. We’re also exploring sector needs around health & safety, safeguarding, and developing fundraising strategies to support the organisation and the sector more widely. Small, focused working groups will help us drive these priorities forward.

We’re excited for what’s ahead and look forward to working with Angela, the team and all of you to keep Articulation thriving.
