We host a lightning pitch session as part of our MULTIFACETED event on Friday 24 July, giving the following creatives the opportunity to present bold, original ideas to an international network of industry professionals.
Vince Virr

Vince Virr has performed, presented and collaborated dance works in 32 countries across six continents. Creating exciting dance pieces in surprising places both on the ground and in the air, as well as traditional theatre settings. His own work explores the often hidden voices within rigid structures, giving visibility to those that feel pushed aside. He is passionate about work for young audiences, cross cultural exchange and intergenerational participation.

Liz Strange

Liz Strange is an Edinburgh-based actor, movement artist and theatre facilitator specialising in visually driven work that is devised, interactive and subversive. Her performances in public spaces gently disrupt the expectations of a social space, with a rebellious and playful connection with strangers, questioning the rules of how we’re supposed to behave in public spaces.
Liz will be pitching ‘Rest Wagon’ – a slow roaming performance making space for collective public rest, see WIP performances at Surge Festival on Saturdays 25 July and 1 August.
F-Bomb Theatre

F-Bomb Theatre is an award-winning feminist theatre company based in Scotland, creating bold new work by and for women and people of marginalised genders. Founded in 2021, the company is committed to platforming underrepresented voices through theatre, community projects and talent development. Its productions include the Fringe First-winning The Beatles Were A Boyband, Afterparty, MONUMENTAL and FLOAT by Indra Wilson. Beyond producing theatre, F-Bomb runs the FemiFringe platform and Talent Database, connecting artists with opportunities and championing intersectional gender equality across the performing arts.
F-Bomb Theatre are pitching ‘Monumental’ – an outdoor theatre project bringing feminist local histories to life through living statues.
All or Nothing Aerial Dance Theatre
Originally trained in dance before being persuaded to take her feet off the ground and try aerial, Jen Paterson performed internationally for various companies and events. She is currently Artistic Director of All or Nothing Aerial Dance Theatre, a company she founded in 2006. Having put performing onto the back burner, she is focusing on creating work, developing her ambition to make aerial integral to the arts in Scotland.

All or Nothing Aerial Dance Theatre will be pitching ‘The Flying Ceilidh’, which blends the joy of live music, dance and community spirit with spectacular aerial performance in a vibrant experience for all ages. A session builds into performance and then into an all out ceilidh.
Vee Smith

Vee Smith is an award winning Circus and Performance maker based in Glasgow. Creating indoor and outdoor shows that blends circus, storytelling and visual theatre, her work is focused on collaboration, blending forms and bringing circus to new audiences.
Vee is pitching three projects: ‘Dreich, Drookit and Braw’ by Julia Chan, ‘BIRD’ by Vee Smith and Sadiq Ali, and ‘Smooth Operators’ by Lisette Boxman.
