About the Fringe Central Programme
We all feel it—the landscape of the performing arts is shifting faster than our seasonal calendars. From the rise of AI to the complexities of funding, the old guidelines are no longer enough. But you don’t have to solve it alone. Pull up a chair for an intimate, off-the-record knowledge share at our new conversational open access roundtables. No formal panels, no experts on a stage—just peers, fresh coffee, and a raw look at how we’re all actually navigating the arts on the ground.
About Space to Talk: Consent in the Arts
This session invites participants to share their experiences, reflect on what consent looks like in our own creative practice, and take time to consider how we can champion safer, more respectful spaces across the sector, wherever we are based. The discussion will be gently guided to support open, honest dialogue in a safe and respectful environment.
The session will be facilitated by Marie Williamson, a movement artist and accessible movement facilitator. The event is presented by Articulation, the Scottish Outdoor Arts Organisation, in partnership with FLAPS, sexual and emotional welfare support for nightlife and music festivals.
